The staff is accommodating and the rooms are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast provided is satisfying and the surrounding area offers a charming atmosphere with lush greenery and cobblestone alleyways. the hotel provides attentive and friendly service, making your stay even more enjoyable.
The bathroom could use a makeover with updated grouting and better amenities.

Excellent service, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Constant supply of water in the room. Lovely balcony with a great view. Beautiful and comfortable antique furniture in the room. Cozy and comfortable living room with tasteful decoration. Private and secluded bedroom with large windows and ample light. Warm temperature provided by the air conditioner in April. TV in both the bedroom and living room. Relaxing bath in the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Delicious breakfast in a pleasant room with music. Convenient location near restaurants and monuments. Close proximity to Mouro's Castle and Pena's Palace. Forest trails provide a scenic alternative to reach the mountain
Felt like treated like royalty, no complaints at all

During my recent stay at Lawrences, I had a delightful experience. The hotel staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The suite I booked was lovely, with a tasteful classic style that exuded charm. The hotel itself had a lot of character, with three beautiful sitting rooms where I could relax with a cup of tea or a drink while reading. The restaurant and bar were both nice, and I must mention the barman who went above and beyond to find my lost prescription sunglasses and return them to me. That gesture was greatly appreciated.
Even though the weather wasn't ideal during my stay, I could still appreciate the hotel's great location, which made it convenient for visiting the nearby palaces. I had a very pleasant stay at Lawrences, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a lovely Christmas stay at this charming hotel. the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. the room was spacious with a rustic feel and a comfortable bed. the view of the forest outside was stunning. the location was superb, just a short walk away from the center of the town where we could find cafes and restaurants.
The sound isolation in the room was poor, particularly from the busy neighboring street. the windows didn't provide any insulation from noise or cold air, and even small bugs found their way inside.

We had a wonderful stay at this atmospheric and historical hotel. From our luxuriously appointed room with exclusive amenities, to the impeccable service, we felt truly pampered. the Spa & wellness centre was a real highlight, offering a Jacuzzi and a range of treatments that left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Our only minor issue was the lack of live entertainment.

This hillside hotel exceeded our expectations. the staff were attentive and made us feel at home. the modern and exclusive amenities of the spa and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed the in-room breakfast while admiring the breathtaking views from our private balcony. the restaurant's dinner, with its special diet menus, was delicious and beautifully presented.
In all honesty, the only minor issue was the location. It's not that it was hard to get to, the venue was quite central;
